Russell "Rusty" Woolridge given Heroism Award
In December of 2016 Russell "Rusty" Woolridge drove up on an accident in which a passenger had received a grave leg wound which eventually required Rusty to place a tourniquet to stop the blood loss. Rusty was previously awarded a certificate of thanks and a gift card, which was covered in our internal public affairs newsletter back in January of this year.
Recently though, Rusty was awarded with the DBi "Heroism Award" from Tony Edmunds, Executive Vice President for the Asset Management Business Unit while company representatives were attending a meeting at the Virginia DOT District Office in Staunton. Virginia DOT was extremely pleased to be allowed to be a part of the ceremony, which occurred outside one of the District Office Buildings.
Please join us in acknowledging Rusty for going above and beyond the line of duty.
