DBi Services began startup work December 15 on its new Windsor Project. Officially known as the Rt. Hon. Herb Gray Parkway (formerly the Windsor-Essex Parkway), it is named for Herb Gray, a member of the Canadian Parliament from 1997-2002.
DBi Services was awarded two large projects to install Emergency Notification Signs (ENS) for the Union Pacific Railroad. Over 35,000 signs will be installed throughout 13 states that make up the Southern and Western Regions of Union Pacific Railroad.

Road markings and studs are able to improve visibility for drivers through retroreflectivity. No matter what type of road, these are considered some of the basic and most important road safety devices. Indeed, it is also important that both elements are coordinated; for example, road markings can guarantee a proper performance during dry conditions and road studs can help to maintain a minimum level of visibility during wet and rainy conditions.
Odebrecht, DBi Services and Volkert were recognized with the Chairman’s Award from the Transportation and Expressway Membership of Florida (TEAMFL) at their recent meeting cohosted by the Tampa-Hillsborough Transportation Authority. DBi Services in conjunction with the RI DOT and FHWA held a two day open house on the 14th and 15th of July, with over 70 attendees for both days from the surrounding New England states. DBi is installing a statewide high friction surfacing treatment (HFST) project utilizing the automated application technology due to the overwhelming interest from state and local highway agencies in the HFST process.

Highway maintenance contractor DBi Services has been awarded the Road Marking and Studding contract by Derbyshire County Council. DBi Services began performance on this multiyear performance based contract on June 1st.
Effective June 2 2014, DBi Services has acquired the assets of Texas Tree & Landscape LTD. Located in Waco, Texas and employing over 150, Texas Tree has been established in the Waco area for over eight years, under ownership of Larry Cathey.
DBi Services announces acceptance of first-ever FDOT District 2 contract renewal under the existing Duval County, Jacksonville, Florida project. This project encompasses maintenance services for 471 centerline miles, 36 limited access miles, 2500 intersections, 1400 manholes, 300 miles of sidewalk, 150 miles of drainage pipe, 60 miles of guardrail and 10,000 sign panels.
The first of several planned HFST projects was installed on Toll Road Highway 94 between Mexico City and Cuernavaca for Obras Viales y Senalizaciones S.A. DE C.V.
DBi UK has secured the contract to survey all of the road markings and road studs across the Highways Agency (HA) Area 7 network utilizing AMAC. Following immense interest from various HA areas, A-One+ are the first provider to award a contract of this nature.
